THE RENEGADE PERFORMANCE SERIES FOR SENIOR CENTERS & PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Junction Dance Theatre’s January is devoted to Pittsburgh’s youth and elders.  The company will be touring Renegade residencies to Senior Centers and Pittsburgh Public Schools.  Residencies include performances, master classes, create-your-own renegade workshops and the renegade dance party.

Seven rooms of ground-breaking interactive site-specific dance, theater, music and poetry performances exposing naked truths with doors wide open. Audiences, a.k.a. house guests, are invited to JDT headquarters, a Victorian home in Swissvale, for breakfast, lunch, dinner or the whole House Party day. House Party guests will also be treated to edibles provided by local vendors, homemade baked goods by the artistic director’s mother, and cocktails (at the dinner show).
